Today, we launched Lonocode, a low code, no code software development company. A little history of how we got here. I started building software in the early nineties with a lot of antiquated tools. When I discovered Visual Basic 3, I believed it was going to transform client/server development and I could help organizations build their business applications at a much higher rate of speed and make them easier to maintain at the same time.
Less than 10 years later, web development “painfully” began. I used many tools to suffer through early web development, including ASP.NET and Websphere to name a few. Since that time, it has become more complex and more expensive to build and maintain any type of software, which are now almost exclusively web or mobile applications.
I write this post now more than 20 years after web development began, and I believe another transformation is taking place. This is why after a short break, I founded Lonocode, where we have a new mission to help the world develop applications faster, more reliable and under budget using Low Code and No Code tools and platforms and tools.
If you are interested in learning how low code and no code tools can transform your business, we’d love to hear from you.
